Traveling 9/11 museum visits Huntingdon

HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — A traveling museum with artifacts from the 9/11 terrorist attacks received quite a welcome Monday from emergency responders in West Tennessee.

Mobile 911 exhibit HuntingdonThe tractor-trailer carrying the mobile museum received an escort from about 20 emergency vehicles and members of the Patriot Guard starting at Parkers Crossroads all the way to Huntingdon, where the museum will set up for a one-day showing.

The museum will be on the court square in downtown Huntingdon. It will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday. The one-day event is free to the public.
