Local celebrities raise funds for Gibson Co. 4-H, one scoop at a time
JACKSON, Tenn.-It was an evening of local celebrities and ice cream at Maggie Moo’s in north Jackson Tuesday night to benefit the Gibson County 4-H Club.
WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Chief Meterologist Tom Meiners suited up for the event where 15 percent of sales went to help members finance their visit to the Standing Rock Indian Reservation in North Dakota.
The group will make the trip in July to experience daily life on the reservation and learn about the history of the plains states.
