Paris police investigate shooting; victim airlifted to Nashville
PARIS, Tenn. — Police are asking witnesses to come forward after a Monday evening shooting in Paris results in a man being airlifted to Nashville.
Officers responded just after 5 p.m. Monday to a report of gunshots in the 500 block of Wynn Street, according to a release from the department.
Police found Mareka Curtis, 32, lying in a driveway. Officers say he had been shot at least four times.
Curtis was transported by ambulance to Henry County Medical Center and then airlifted to Nashville.
Police continue to investigate and urge any witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call Paris police at 731-642-2424.
