USJ vs Covington Softball
JACKSON, Tenn — The Bruins played host to the Covington Lady Chargers Wednesday afternoon. USJ entered the afternoon with a 19-4-1 record.
The team got a strong outing from starting pitcher Ally McFarland. She pitched a three hit, six strikeout complete game. The win gave McFarland her 17th win on the season.
She would receive a little help on the offensive side, Kallie Pickens smashed a grand slam, and the Bruins would go on to beat the Chargers 9-2.
