JACKSON, Tenn.-A packed house at the Neely House in downtown Jackson Thursday night as up-and-coming artists from across West Tennessee showcased their work.

The event,  called “Speaking of Art”, featured various mediums of art, from paintings to pottery.
For the fourth year, a portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the West Tennessee Hearing and Speech Center’s Assistive Technology Library for children and adults with communication and hearing disorders.

“It’s just beautiful to see that one, people appreciate our artists and are supporting the artists… and two that they our supporting our center,”
said Kimberli Moore, executive director with West Tennessee Hearing and Speech Center.

Dozens of people came out to view the different pieces of art and meet with their creators.
