Henry Co. deputies ask for help to ID alleged ‘prowler’
HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies are asking the public to help identify a man they refer to as a “prowler” who they say has entered at least two homes.
The sheriff’s office has released a sketch of the man they say entered at least two homes in the Sunny Side and County Home Road area.
“The two people that were in these residences were children that were either not going to school that day or hadn’t left for school yet,” Sheriff Monte Belew said.
The man may have entered more homes, according to the sheriff’s office.
The man is described as a white male between 45 and 60 years old. They say he has blondish hair and a medium complexion and stands about six feet tall with a medium, muscular build.
“We want to be able to identify this suspect and bring him to justice because obviously we don’t know his exact motive, and we don’t want this to become an escalated situation,” the sheriff said.
Anyone who can identify the man or thinks they may have seen him is asked to call the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 731-642-1672 or the department’s anonymous tip line at 731-642-0929.
