Madison Co. deputies seek info in Christmasville Road shooting

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The sheriff’s office is asking for information in a Friday afternoon shooting along Christmasville Road northeast of Jackson.

Just before 5 p.m., an occupant in a silver Chevrolet Impala fired gunshots at a pickup truck driving in front of them while traveling in the 3000 block of Christmasville Road near Mill Brook Lane, according to Tom Mapes, public information officer with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

The gunman fired numerous shots, shattering the pickup truck’s back glass, according to Mapes. No one was injured.
