Henry Co. deputies investigate alleged bogus bail bondsman calls

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is warning people who recently have been released from jail to be aware of alleged fake bail bondsman phone calls.

The sheriff’s office is investigating reports of someone calling people who have been released from area jails and claiming to be their bail bondsman, according to a release.

The caller has been telling the alleged victims they have to pay an additional $1,500 or their bond will be revoked and they will be jailed.
