Royston plant to close after 50 years in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — After more than 50 years, workers at an east Jackson plant will clock out Friday for the last time.

The Royston plant is moving its operation to Atlanta, Georgia. The plant produces custom cabinets for business like Quick Trip and check out conveyor belts for grocery stores.

Workers say they were told last November that the plant would be relocated.
