Woman indicted in Moss Point double shooting
PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) – A 28-year-old Pascagoula woman is facing two felony charges in a shooting in Moss Point that wounded a man and woman.
A Jackson County grand jury indicted Brittney Shilon Patton this week on two counts of aggravated assault. She has pleaded not guilty and is free awaiting trial on a total bond of $40,000.
The Sun Herald reports Patton is accused in the Sept. 6, 2014, shooting of Kierra McWilliams and Antwan Williams near a dollar store on Mississippi 613. Both suffered life-threatening wounds but survived.
Patton is scheduled for a court appearance May 10.
