People line up for chance to work at Margaritaville
BILOXI, Miss. (AP) – Construction crews worked through the weekend getting Margaritaville Resort Biloxi ready for a June opening, while people hoping to snag one of the 600 jobs at the resort lined up for an interview.
The Sun Herald reports Sunday was the first day of a three-day job fair that continues from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Biloxi Civic Center.
The lines stretched out the door as applicants went first to fill out an application and then, for the best qualified, on to an interview.
The resort will have a hotel, several restaurants, shops, an outdoor waterpark and an indoor entertainment center.
