UPDATED: Milan police ID accused shoplifting suspects
MILAN, Tenn. — Milan police said three suspects accused of shoplifting from Walmart have been identified.
Police Chief Bobby Sellers was in the store when the three tried to leave with multiple items without paying, according to the Milan Police Department.
Police shared this surveillance footage with us after the three alleged thieves ran from officers after being caught shoplifting.
After tips from WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News viewers, Tuesday night, the three were identified as UT-Martin students.
Officers said they are are expected to turn themselves in sometime Wednesday.
