Whiteville police search for missing woman
HARDEMAN COUNTY, Tenn. — The Whiteville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a possibly endangered woman.

Police say Bobbi Jo Herndon may be on the way to the Whiteville area from North Carolina.
Herndon is allegedly being lured to the area by an inmate claiming to be country music artist Dierks Bentley.
Herndon is five feet six inches to five feet eight inches tall and weighs around 300 pounds. She is described as having blue eyes and no teeth. Herndon’s family says she has mental health issues with bipolar depression and is mildly mentally challenged.
