Stabbing suspect is charged with attempted murder

JACKSON, Tenn. — A weekend stabbing lands a man in jail on a count of attempted second-degree murder and his alleged victim in the hospital.

According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Eric Davis stabbed a man Friday night at Sadie Lou’s on Riverside Drive.

Officers say Davis and the victim, who is a family member, got into an argument before Davis stabbed him seven times in the left arm and shoulder with a six-inch knife.

Davis’ bond is set at $100,000.
