Henderson Co. deputies ask for help finding burglary suspect
HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — The sheriff’s office is asking the public to help them find a man wanted on assault and burglary charges.
Michael Wayne Baker is accused of stealing from a farm in Henderson County on April 30 and May 3.
On May 3, a concerned citizen was following him when he abandoned a load of stolen items along with his truck on Center Hill Wright Road and fled into the woods, according to the sheriff’s office.
Baker is believed to be hiding out in Decatur County and may have been seen in Saltillo or Bible Hill.
He is wanted on aggravated assault, aggravated burglary and theft charges, according to the sheriff’s office.
