Officers respond to report of vicious dog, case being investigated
JACKSON, Tenn.-Jackson Police are investigating a vicious dog call in which an officer fired off two shots at the animal, Tuesday evening.
According to Jackson police, they got a call around 6:30 p.m. that a dog was acting aggressively toward children in the area of Pammara Lane and Blake Street. The responding officer said when he arrived, the dog acted aggressively toward him. He fired twice, but did not hit the animal.
Officers said the dog is now back home and this case remains under investigation.
