Weather Update – 11:00 p.m. Thursday
A few stray showers, some bringing locally heavy rain, will continue to be possible in northwest Tennessee later tonight into early on Wednesday morning. It still appears that most of West Tennessee will stay dry overnight. Temperatures will drop to the middle and upper 60s under partly cloudy skies by sunrise Wednesday morning.
WEDNESDAY
Tomorrow will be an even hotter day with muggy conditions. Temperatures could warm up to the lower and middle 80s and potentially even upper 80s in southwest Tennessee under partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible tomorrow during the morning and afternoon but it appears as though the coverage from these storms would be very limited like it was today.
REST OF THE WEEK
A cold front will come through West Tennessee on Thursday giving our region a much better chance for rain. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move through the Mid-South from the later hours of the morning through the afternoon and into the evening. Cooler weather will follow with highs in the 70s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Drier weather is forecast for Friday and Saturday but Sunday could have a few scattered showers return to the area.
