Humboldt woman accused of TennCare fraud, selling drugs in school zone
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A Humboldt woman is charged with TennCare fraud on accusations of selling prescription drugs within a school zone.
Maryrose Moling, 58, is accused of using her TennCare benefits to obtain the painkiller Oxycodone and the anxiety medication Alprazolam and then selling some of the drugs to an undercover informant, according to a release from the Office of Inspector General.
Moling is charged with three counts of TennCare fraud, two counts of sale of a schedule II controlled substance within a school zone and one count of sale of a schedule IV controlled substance within a school zone.
TennCare fraud is a Class E felony carrying a sentence of up to two years in prison per charge, according to the release.
District Attorney General Garry Brown is prosecuting the case.
