Jackson police seek to ID suspected Old Hickory Mall shoplifters
JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are asking for help to identify a man and woman they say stole more than $2,000 worth of merchandise from Belk at the Old Hickory Mall.
The man and woman entered Belk in the Old Hickory Mall between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. May 1 and were captured shoplifting on surveillance video, according to a report from the Jackson Police Department.
The two reportedly got away with more than 30 clothing items including Polo and Ralph Lauren merchandise.
Police describe the man as being black with a light complexion and wearing a gray, polo-style golf shirt, faded jeans and a flat, gray cap.
The woman is described as black with a dark complexion and wearing a dark gray shirt, dark jeans and what appeared to be a shower cap or hair net, according to the report.
