City of Jackson announces temporary Downtown road closures for Friday event

JACKSON, Tenn. — The City of Jackson Engineering Department has authorized temporary road closures in the Downtown area for a Friday event.

Two lanes of New Market Street from Union Avenue to West Lafayette Street, two lanes of West Lafayette Street from New Market Street to Shannon Street and two lanes of Shannon Street from West Lafayette Street to College Street will be closed temporarily on Friday from 3 P.M. to midnight for “Relay for Life of Madison County” at the Farmer’s Market.
