18th annual “Parade of Ponds” raises money for humane society
JACKSON, Tenn.—With the spring weather comes outdoor decorating, and one local business is helping those outdoor lovers while supporting a good cause.
Carter’s Nursery Pond and Patio hosted their 18th annual “Parade of Ponds”.
People can take a self-guided tour of different home ponds across North Jackson.
All the proceeds from ticket sales go to support the Jackson-Madison County Humane Society.
“I think it’s very important like I said they are a non profit only help they get is by people raising money for them there are a lot of dogs and cats out there that have no home and no where to go,” construction supervisor Shane Hodge.
They will be hosting another Parade of Ponds the Saturday after Father’s Day to help support the humane society.
