Hundreds of motorcycles drive in Tanya Taylor Memorial Ride
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — This afternoon one of the biggest biker events in West Tennessee made its way through the region.
Our cameras caught up with the 8th annual Tanya Taylor Memorial Ride as hundreds of bikers made their way through Skullbone in Gibson county. This motorcycle ride is in memory of the Taylor family who lost their lives in a tornado in 2006. Bystanders were parked along the route cheering on the riders as they raise money for mission trips through the First Baptist Church in Dyer.“The community is sort of family; we feel their loss,” said biker Scotty Baldwin.” We could only imagine if it happened in our own family and stuff. It’s just a way Gibson County and other communities come together for a family.”
This year’s ride will benefit a mission trip to Ecuador where missionaries will provide children with free eyeglasses.
