Henry Co. Sheriff’s Dept. offers reward in large-scale gun theft
HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — The sheriff’s department is offering a cash reward after the theft of a large number of rifles, shotguns and handguns.
The firearm thefts, which include many specialty weapons, are believed to have occurred between Friday, May 6 and Monday, May 9, according to a release from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
The guns reportedly were stolen from a metal building located on Jones Bend Road. Deputies say the firearms were not secured in a safe.
The department is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the recovery of property and the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

The stolen firearms include:
Handguns: American Western Arms 45 Colt Peace Keeper revolvers, American Western Arms model 1873 45 Colt revolvers and other Western firearms, along with Glock, Kimber, Keltec, Taurus, Beretta, Ruger, Navy Arms, Walter, Springfield, Sig Saur, USR, Uberti and HK handguns
Rifles and shotguns: Mauser, Marlin, Remington, Ruger, Savage, Armisport, Winchester, CZ, Browning, JP Custom and Springfield rifles and shotguns along with Rock River Arms AR-15, Bushmaster AR-15, Uberti AR-15 rifles, and Thompson Center .50-caliber black-powder rifles
Also reported stolen were range finders, Beta magazine systems and other firearm accessories.
