Jackson church kicks off summer prayer meeting tours

JACKSON, Tenn.-Dozens gathered around South Side High School Wednesday evening to kick off Campbell Street Church of Christ’s summer prayer meetings tour.

This was the first of nine prayer meetings the church plans to hold across the Jackson area through the end of July.
Wednesday evening was all about fellowship. The church provided free food and games for the little ones.

After spending time together, they joined in prayer for the Hub City and each other.

“We want to pray and ask for God to come in to work in our lives and to bless this city and to bless the people here and we just think it’s going to be a great thing,” said Pastor Danny Sorrell of the Campbell St. Church of Christ.

Anyone is invited to attend these Wednesday night meetings. For a full list of this summer’s scheduled, visit the “Seen on 7” section.
