TBI finds 2 of 3 women sought in connection with Milan death investigation
MILAN, Tenn. — A TBI spokesperson has confirmed they have located and interviewed two of the three women they wanted to question in connection with a death investigation.
Investigators interviewed the two women Monday night, but a third woman has not been located, according to Public Information Officer Josh DeVine.
The bureau has only identified one of the women, Laura Gibson, and has not said which of the women were located.
DeVine says in an email that they are not calling the women suspects or persons of interest.
Investigators said Christopher Grant Eskew was found injured Sunday at the Budget Inn motel, located at 1073 West Van Hook Street.
DeVine said Eskew later died at Milan General Hospital.
The TBI had previously referred to this as a homicide investigation. They now are referring to it as a death investigation pending autopsy information, according to DeVine.
