Driver transported after car vs. tree crash in north Jackson
NORTH JACKSON — Police responded Wednesday morning to a one-vehicle wreck in north Jackson where a car crashed into a tree.
Officers responded around 11:45 a.m. to the crash on Plainsfield Place off of Pleasant Plains Road.
The driver, a 17-year-old male, was the only person in the car and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injures, according to officers on scene.
The wreck happened at a curve in the road. Police say they do not yet know what caused the crash.
The car’s airbag deployed in the wreck and the driver was alert when officers arrived, according to police.
