MCSO winner of 2016 Battle of the Badges blood drive
JACKSON, Tenn. — The results are in from the competition among Jackson-Madison County officers, emergency officials and wildlife agencies in a battle of donating blood.
The 2016 Battle of the Badges ended Friday with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department winning first place with 67 donors. Second place went to the Madison County Fire Department with 40 donors and the Jackson Police Department took third place with 32 donors.
A total of 242 donors participated during the two weeks of competition. The trophy will be presented at Lifeline Blood Service’s All American Blood Drive, June 23.
