9th Annual Hub City Fitness Quest draws hundreds to competition
JACKSON, Tenn.—Bodybuilders of all ages made their way to Jackson this weekend for the 9th Annual Hub City Fitness Quest.
Around 200 competitors from ages 17 to 62 competed in different categories all day Saturday.
Their special guest, IFFB Wheelchair World Champion Joshua Foster was there as their guest poser.
Foster was paralyzed from the waist down after a car crash in 2013.
“You gotta make a choice that you’re gonna work at that minute, at that day, and then you go to the next day, sometimes we get so into the future and what’s gonna happen that we forget about what we have to do today,” Foster said.
Those who competed Saturday said they are encouraged with how the sport of bodybuilding is growing and can include all ages, and hope more people take a part over the coming years.
