Mark Davis named new DeSoto EMS director
HERNANDO, Miss. (AP) – A former owner of an Arkansas ambulance service is DeSoto County’s new EMS director.
The Commercial Appeal reports the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors appointed Mark Davis to the post. He begins work June 13, and will be in charge of all aspects of the county’s emergency medical services. Duties include management of EMS technicians, paramedics, ambulances and billing services.
Davis replaces Fiodor Baraniuk, who left to work for the city of Horn Lake.
