The Jackson Chamber recognized the seven businesses with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The businesses included a locksmith, a sign company and multiple web-based services.

“Our local businesses that have a storefront, we go out and do the ribbon cuttings. But our home-based and out-of-town businesses may not have that opportunity since they don’t have a storefront,” said Lisa Cothran, vice president of membership development for the Jackson Chamber.

The ceremony also highlighted out-of-town businesses that serve the Jackson area.
