Kids health fair brings out crowd

JACKSON, Tenn. — Hundreds of Hub City children from five area organizations learned how to be Healthier at a Thursday event.

The first TennCare Kids Conference was held at the East Jackson Church of Christ.

Sessions at Thursday’s event covered a number of health-related topics including diet, exercise, self-image and bullying.

Dr. Manny Sethi, the founder and president of nonprofit “Healthy Tennessee” served as the keynote speaker.
