‘Redneck Island’ opens on Beech Lake in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — As summer closes in and temperatures soar, a unique way to cool off opens up at Beech Lake.

Redneck Island, a floating fun center complete with water slides and other amusements, kicked off their season Friday afternoon at Beech Lake Family Camping Resort.

The resort area is located at 495 Beech Lake Campground Road.
