Civic groups welcome Miss Tennessee contestants

JACKSON, Tenn. — Miss Tennessee contestants spent their first full day in Jackson on Monday — and it was a busy one.

For lunch, the Old Hickory Rotary Club and Jackson Lions Club hosted the ladies at the DoubleTree Hotel, giving community members a chance to talk with the contestants.

They also heard from Miss Tennessee Hannah Robison.

The contestants’ day began at 8:30 a.m. with practice at the Carl Perkins Civic Center and will last until around 10 p.m.
