Local educators earn Teacher & Principal of the Year honors
JACKSON, Tenn. — A number of West Tennessee educators received top honors Thursday, including one principal placed among the best in the state.
Picked by the Principals Study Council, North Parkway Middle School Principal Tiffany Taylor is Principal of the Year for Southwest Area Council #15, according to a release from the Jackson-Madison County School System.
Taylor will now compete for State of Tennessee Principal of the Year from the Tennessee Department of Education.
Three other educators made it as Teacher of the Year finalists, including Christy McManus from Chester County Middle School and Callie Hodge at Medina Middle School.
