Parent who claims teacher verbally abused daughter speaks out at McNairy Co. school board
McNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn.-One parent in McNairy County wants to make sure other children do not experience what his child did.
He claims a teacher verbally abused his daughter to the point of tears, two years ago at Ramer Elementary School.
He said at the time, the school agreed to move the teacher to another school until she retired.
But now the teacher is returning to Ramer and he went to the school board Thursday night in search of answers.
“I can’t live with the fact that if I don’t do everything I can to keep this from happening to my other daughter and to any other child in that system,” said the girl’s father.
The McNairy County School Board expressed their apologies but said they could not give a recommendation because personnel issues are handled by individual schools.
