Shooting victim who recanted story in court charged with aggravated perjury

 

JACKSON, Tenn. — New details on a story WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News first brought you Thursday, as the victim of a Memorial Day shooting is officially charged with aggravated perjury.

According to court documents, the day after Antonio Clark was shot and again on Wednesday, he identified David Travis to police as the man who shot him on Memorial Day. Yet during Travis’ preliminary hearing Thursday, Clark told the court he did not know who shot him.

His bond was set at $30,000.
