Lightning strikes home in east Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn.– Lightning hits a home early Friday morning.
Jackson police say the home, located on Hackberry Lane in east Jackson, was struck around 4:25 a.m. Friday.
WBBJ Reporter Victoria Taylor spoke with the homeowners, who say lightning struck cast iron pipes in the kitchen walls, sparking the fire.
Right now, there is no word on how much damage was done.
No injuries were reported.
