Local colleges will see lowest tuition increase in 33 years
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Tennessee Board of Regents approved the lowest increases in undergraduate tuition since 1983.
The University of Memphis will see the lowest increase for the 2016-2017 academic year at 2.3 percent.
The average for the six Tennessee Board of Regents Universities, 13 community colleges and 27 colleges of applied technology, will increase an average of 2.6 percent.
