Crawfish boil benefits local woman in need of transplant
JACKSON, Tenn. — Family and friends hosted a benefit Saturday to help a local woman fighting for her life.
Jennifer Crouch has cystic fibrosis. She is waiting for a double lung transplant, an operation that will cost about $50,000.
Friends and family hosted a crawfish boil and benefit ride at Bumpus Harley-Davidson in Jackson to help raise money for the surgery.
“I’m very blessed to have family and friends, and be in a community that steps up and helps,” Crouch said.
Saturday’s benefit also included a silent auction and live music.
