Workout Wednesday: with your pet
JACKSON, Tenn — For this weeks Workout Wednesday we scaled things back for people who don’t like running or lifting weights.
All you need is your pet, and some motivation to get a workout in for thirty minutes. Studies show adults, 18-65 only need to workout for 30 minutes a day.
Your dog is a great trainer, as they can motivate you and can be relied on to be ready to go each day.
With the easy thirty minute walk, it helps decrease heart disease, breast cancer and lowers the risk of diabetes. It also builds up your endurance and helps burn calories.
It’s also something that your pets will love, and you get a workout in while giving your pet the daily exercise it needs.
