Works by local artists on display at The Ned

JACKSON, Tenn.-Dozens came out to The Ned Tuesday night to enjoy new exhibits featuring 2 local artists.

Hundreds of works were on display, including the ones called the “Funky Faces” exhibit by artist Jane Walls.
Walls said all of her creations are from “wild imagination” and living a fun life to its fullest.

“I hope that they leave with a new refreshed appreciation of the arts and they’ve seen just, kind of a different viewpoint of the arts by way of these two featured artists,” said Melinda Hearn, with the Jackson Arts Council.

Also on display were pieces by Charlotte Highers, who said she hopes viewers enjoy the paintings of her experiences in “It’s in the Details”.
Both exhibits will run through August 20.

Doors are open daily from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and admission is free.
