Bolivar fire official named Chief of the Year

HARDEMAN COUNTY, Tenn. — Bolivar Fire Chief Lynn Price was named Fire Chief of the Year by the Tennessee Fire Chiefs Association.

Price was recognized for his work in making Bolivar the only city in Tennessee that is a Firewise Community, according to Bolivar Fire Department public information officer Sarah Rice.

Joining the National Fire Protection Program’s Firewise Community will help Bolivar in its efforts to prevent wildfires, according to Rice.
