Judge sets trial date for murder suspect

JACKSON, Tenn. — A man accused in a deadly shooting outside a Jackson nightclub will go to trial this fall.

corbyndavisCorbyn Davis appeared in Madison County Circuit Court on Monday. Judge Don Allen set his trial date for Sept. 27. Davis returns to court Aug. 22 for a status update.

Davis faces a first-degree murder charge. He is accused of shooting Jamar Rogers in June 2014 on the parking lot of the Omni Center along the Highway 45 Bypass.
