Kermit Davis extension

MURFREESBORO, Tenn — The MTSU Blue Raiders don’t need to worry about losing their head basketball coach.

Monday, Kermit Davis inked a new eight year contract extension, through the 2023-2024. Davis will make $565,000 annually.

Davis has been with the Blue Raiders for 14 seasons, where he is 276-175. In his career of coaching he is, 413-250.

His team went 25-10 this past season and won their first NCAA Tournament game since 1989.
