Humboldt police arrest runaway juvenile in recent burglaries

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A juvenile is in custody as a result of an investigation into recent burglaries.

A 13-year-old runaway male juvenile from Humboldt is being held after police located him Tuesday and recovered several guns, according to a release from the Humboldt Police Department.

One of the burglaries took place Saturday and another on Monday where only guns were taken, according to the release.

Police say the juvenile was also wanted on a warrant out of Illinois for violation of probation on burglary charges.

After a detention hearing, the juvenile is being held at a juvenile facility until trial.
