Celebration of Life service for Pat Summitt is this evening
KNOXVILLE — With 1,098 wins and eight NCAA championships, Pat Summitt leaves quite a legacy for the Volunteer State.
Thursday evening, a Celebration of Life service for Summitt will be streamed live starting at 6 p.m. from Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville.

Summitt passed away two weeks ago after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2011.
Coach Summitt started her college basketball career at the University of Tennessee at Martin, setting numerous records that she still holds to this day.
From there, she went on to coach the UT Lady Vols for 38 seasons, taking them to eight national championships.
