Sheriff: Suspect in George County shooting surrenders
LUCEDALE, Miss. (AP) – A 25-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting last week in George County has surrendered to authorities.
The Sun Herald reports deputies arrested Donta Street on a charge of second-degree murder.
Sheriff Keith Havard said Street turned himself in at the sheriff’s office about 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Havard says Street is accused of shooting a man on Friday.
Authorities have not identified the victim.
