1 found dead after house fire in East Tennessee
JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (AP) – Officials in East Tennessee say a person has been found dead after a house fire there.
Washington County Sheriff Ed Graybeal’s office said emergency workers responded to the fire in the Gray community around 5:45 a.m. Friday, and the house was fully engulfed in flames.
A news release from Graybeal’s office said a body was discovered after the fire was brought under control. The victim’s identity hasn’t been released.
The state fire marshal’s office is investigating.
