Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. Thursday
Warm and muggy conditions are forecast for the night under skies that will be partly cloudy at times as temperatures drop to the lower to middle 70s by sunrise at 5:57 a.m. Friday morning. Patchy fog will be possible, especially in the few areas that got rain today. A Heat Advisory is in effect for parts of West Tennessee until Friday night. The heat will be just as, if not even more dangerous tomorrow with extreme heat in the forecast for Friday. As high pressure breaks down, which is the system responsible for this heat, temperatures will reach lower high temperatures this weekend and early next week.

FRIDAY
Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible again tomorrow, though coverage will be limited. Temperatures will quickly warm up to the middle and upper 90s on Friday with some spots getting close to 100°F. It has potential to be the hottest day of the year so far. Temperatures will feel like they’re at 105°F or higher during the warmest point of the day. Stay safe in the heat!
THIS WEEKEND
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible this weekend. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 90s both days but it will still feel very uncomfortable with the humidity staying in place. Stay weather aware and stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest forecast!
Have a great night!
