JMC staff gather for ‘Employee Night Out’
JACKSON, Tenn.-With Hub City students returning to school in just days, Jackson-Madison County Schools staff gathered for an Employee Night Out, Tuesday night.
Dozens of employees, from teachers to bus drivers, took part in the event, which began at the lift with a health fair.
They were able to receive a number of health screenings and information from area vendors.
School officials said they hope the event will jump start a great year.
“We really wanted to just start this year with our staff on a good start and have a fun night. We’re doing some things for health, but we’re also doing a lot of fun things, so we just really want to kick off this school year with a great start,” said Annette Wilson, school health administrator with JMC Schools.
The festivities continued at “The Amp, where the Harts Bridge Band took the stage.
Classes for Jackson-Madison County students begin Monday.
